Thought I'd send out a quick status of Project Grizzly.
1.) We (Jeanfrancois & I) along with Tom Marble (OpenJDK Ambassador)
submitted several potential Grizzly related projects to Google Summer of
Code 2007. However, based on feedback I'm hearing from others within Sun
and looking at Google's web site it does not appear that any of our
proposals were accepted by Google.
2.) Jeanfrancois would like to have a code review of the Grizzly 1.5
source code so it can officially be released. We should consider doing
this outside of our scheduled weekly meeting since we won't have a
meeting until March 28th (see next item).
3.) There will be no Grizzly meeting next Wednesday March 21st. I will
be with a customer all day on Wednesday. We'll plan on having our next
meeting March 28th.
