Thanks, Jim. I had thought (hoped?) that there was a way to get Eclipse to read html_basic.tld and use it. I guess not. There used to be some sort of kludgy hack in JSF 1.x to make this idea work if you used the .jspx extension instead of .xhtml.
Once there is a schema, I can drop it in just as I did for faces-config.xml. I'll just wait for that.
