I confirmed this as well, and it also occurrs on all browsers for me. Only the first expression is processed.

Often, I'll just do this myself when I see something like this, but I still have questions: How are you including the ".css"? Is this a style tag in the head, is this inline with a <style> tag, or maybe an outputStylesheet directive? Is there more than one level of nesting? Are you doing anything else odd?
