I'm unfamiliar with the icefaces library in detail, but at JavaOne, they
showed how their new version would comet enable just about any
component. So h:inputText may actually work in the new version - it's
probably worth checking (though it's quite possible that I'm wrong, and
misunderstood them, since their example used composite components).
