I'm not sure what I could really do for you, but I'll do my best if you
get me pointed in the right direction.

I can send in something that "should" reproduce it eventually, but the
NPEs were so rare that I had a hard time tracking it down.

After a day of seeing flawless behavior, I assume I've nailed it.

I'll set up a Maven Project... btw... is there a SUN repository where I
can point to for Maven jars of the nightly snapshot?
