With more and more people using automatically-generated environments (e.g.,
with Vagrant), silent installations are more important now than ever.
The installation guide (written against 4.0) on the 4.1 download page is
misleading, and it documents a self extracting bundle, which may be used
for silent installations. However, the bundle has either been accidentally
neglected, or it's officially discontinued.
If it's officially discontinued, what's the recommended way to perform
silent installations?
