1) Verify firewall or SELINUX if there is something blocking the 4848 port.
2) ping localhost ok? 3) Verify
DIRINSTALLATION/glassfish/domains/domain1/logs/server.log for errors. 4)
GF3.1.1 has a problem if the name of the machine doesn't points to the right
IP of the machine.
