Sorry guys, I neglected to mention that use of local interfaces is important
since these beans are used to transfer JPA entities (again, abstracted
through API interfaces). If I use a remote interface (which I couldn't get to
work anyway), lazy loading would be "killed" for JPA. Thanks!
