The GlassFish Update Center is suitable for a production environment. Some
things to keep in mind:
* There is no practical way to roll-back an update. So you'll want to backup
your GlassFish installation before applying an update.
* GlassFish should be brought down before an update is applied
* If you are a commercial customer with a software support contract you can
get "patch" updates to GlassFish releases via the GlassFish support
repository. Go to
https://pkg-register.oracle.com/ to generate a
certificate for accessing the support repository (you log in with your My
Oracle Support id).
