thanks for answering. No, I don't have an ejb-jar.xml. Just the files I
mentioned.
I tried before to add the ejb manually as a module. I tried without path and
with pathes
like lib/ejb-app.jar and variants like root/lib/ejb-app.jar
The error messages change slightly, but it never works. A further problem may
be, that glassfish doesn't cleanup as it should on errors, which requires
shutdown, manual deletes in the domain1 directory and restart. Due to that
maybe I missed the working syntax. Hence the reason of my question. I someone
knows how it works I must do much less trials with boring restarts
