Hi,
I think we may be confusing you with our use of the word -- "final." In
this case, it was the final build of the project, GlassFish 3.1.1.
Definitely, not the final release of the project GlassFish. We've
already announced, to the community that we are working on GlassFish
3.1.2. See the Aquarium blog, here
<http://blogs.oracle.com/theaquarium/entry/glassfish_next_more_paas_more>.
If you follow JavaOne, you'll see that there are myriad improvements in
the works for Java EE 7. We'll be demonstrating some of that work, at
JavaOne and via collateral that will be available at the show, and online.
Oracle continues to sell commercial licenses with support of GlassFish
Enterprise Server. If you have questions, don't hesitate to contact a
sales-person, or post back to this list.
Cheers,
-- Ed
