Hello, Java.net community!
Sorry for necroposting but this post is about the same issue I am facing now.
I have already install GlassFish Enterprise Server 3.1.1 in a development
computer and when I try to install a previous version, specifically 2.1.1,
the screen shows a message reading "*Either .asadminpass or
.asadmintruststore file exists in your home directory*".
The only thing I have found in the web is a request to fix a typo in the
message which accordingly should say "Either .asadminpass or
asadmintruststore file exists in your home directory".
I know where those files are. Or, at least, I can see the first one. I do not
know why the other is not present. In my case the file .asadminpass is in
C:\Users\<<My_user_name>>
Thank you very much in advance.
P. S.: If I must open a new thread just tell me. I just wanted to keep the
information centralized in a single thread.
