Glassfish V3 installation creates temporary folder on 'noxec' filesystem

I am trying to install GF v3

Works finew on my development server (RH Linux) but when we try it on the
system test server it fails.

Reason being that the sges-v3-unix.sh script creates a temporary diretory on
/tmp and /tmp has been mounted with the 'noxec' option (i.e. we can not run
executables from within /tmp)

We can not remove the noxec option as we do not 'own' the server.

The /tmp/ path is hardcoded in sges-v3-unix.sh

Is there a simple way round this?
