The logs are always created if there is an XA transaction (and transaction
that spans 2 servers is always an XA). If you can reproduce a deadlock (do
you have connection validation on?), please file a bug in 'jts' with the
stack traces and the steps to reproduce.
While officially not fully supported, the transaction propagation from one
server to another should work.
