No, we guys have a Unix and a Windows install script. Solaris is one of many flavours of Unix :-)

Personally, I find it easiest to use the zip install. There's no script: download the file ending in .zip, unzip it onto your machine, and you're done.

I get promoted builds from
http://download.java.net/glassfish/3.1/promoted/

Simply unzip and you're done. Works for me on Solaris and Windows.
