Well - unfortunately that would not work - as we have 2 LB'd GlassFish servers (with 3 instances per server)... and if the service grows intend to add more zones / servers.
ASIDE: Putting an IP address as the cookie domain is fine from a spec perspective but even if we had a single server I wouldn't be comfortable doing so... but in any event its a moot point in this case as it wouldn't unfortunately help.
