What you say is the normal expected behaviour on the aplication server and when the referencing component is another ejb or a web component. But here i'm launching the app script and the ejb-jar is nothing more than some classpath entry. The ACC cannot deploy EJBs from or consider such an EJB JAR, look into it for EJB references of the Main class, etc.
If it did, it would be in fact an EJB container too.
