I took another parse at your configuration,..
you dont require XA support and your RA is configured with SupportsXA false, and i assume your connection factory (JNDI bound) is also non-XA. In which case could you change the transaction attribute in your deployment descriptor to "Bean" (its currently "Container").
redeploy and then try
