Within this installation of GF:
* Have you ever defined a JDBC connection to JavaDB (or any DB other than MySQL)?
* Have you ever defined a JNDI name for any JDBC connection other than the one you are trying to use?
* Do you use an annotations in your code that specify a JDBC connection to use?
* Have you check all you JNDI names to ensure they map to what you think they map?
Perhaps you're using a JNDI name that is predefined in GFv3???
