if i telnet in - and type a bunch of "?" marks - in a short time, the server responds: GIOP followed by some jibberish - and then drops the connection. this is the same whether the telnet is done on the glassfish server or from another machine to the glassfish server. so i believe the jndi connection is available. is there a verbose mode for the client jndi lookup?
