Welcome to Java EE and GlassFish!
When you start GlassFish, it should tell you which log file it uses
(defined in conf/asenv.conf). Make sure you're looking in the right
place.
As an alternative you can start GlassFish using 'asadmin start-domain
--verbose' to have the log in-lined.
