As I understand the vendor specific mapping file, e.g. sun-ejb-jar.xml, has to be created for each EJB using the resource. And what if the application contains thousands of EJBs?
Typically data sources are global resources and all the EJBs uses the same set of them. Isn’t possible to define this type of mapping on a global level, i.e. once for the entire application (the ear file)?
