Hello,
I configured one of my MDB to create up to 5 instances of beans (configuration below) but I've noticed that server creates up to 6 instances. I played with different numbers and it appers that server always creates n + 1 instances? Is it a "feature" of Glassfish or didn't I configure it properly?
<bean-pool>
<steady-pool-size>1</steady-pool-size>
<resize-quantity>1</resize-quantity>
<max-pool-size>5</max-pool-size>
</bean-pool>
Environment: Glassfish 2.1
