Hi all,
I'm a junior developer working on an Enterprise Application in Netbeans 6.5. This Enterprise Application is going through progressive changes, one of which is a switch to IceFaces from Woodstock. We are unable to make an immediate switch, but are beginning to make gradual changes.
When I log in through my portal application (IceFaces), I can move freely between Web Applications according to access the current logged in user has thanks to the SSO property I enabled in the admin console. The problem I am having is when I log in through my portal application (IceFaces) and then visit one of the other Web Applications (all in Woodstock) and then attempt to logout/invalidate session, I get a 500 error. My Glassfish console gives me the following stack trace:
[1] views have accumulated updates
StandardWrapperValve[Faces Servlet]: PWC1406: Servlet.service() for servlet Faces Servlet threw exception
java.lang.NullPointerException

I am not particularly sure if this is a problem with Glassfish, IceFaces, or Woodstock. I'm inclined to believe it's an IceFaces issue since I can log into one of the Woodstock Web Applications and move freely between each of the Woodstock applications and logout with no errors, but if I visit the IceFaces Portal application, I get errors from logging out.
Has anyone else had this trouble, or at least know what the exact problem is? Thank you very much in advance.
Brian
