Thanks Prahlad. I did change the code, compiled the code, created the war file and then deployed it again. But I still get the same error.
I guess my error is not related with that because with Tomcat server, it is working fine whether I keep i.lookup("java:comp/env"); or i.lookup("java:/comp/env");.
I am new to GlassFish. I am missing something at the server end only.
