i tested my app and singleton pattern seems to work fine.

the thing that makes me thinking it wasn't working is that:
if i call size() method on BlockingQueue object after calling a processQueue() method [that starts runnable items in the queue] the result is always 0?

i'll be glad if someone can explain to me what's happening?
