We are working on our first implementation of Glassfish and are having a possibly detrimental problem. We have been using Orion app server on Windows without any problems and are trying to run Glassfish on Solaris 10 in a zone.
When downloading a Word document, not all of the file is retrieved. The file size is about 19k and anywhere from 3k to 8k is downloaded throught the GF server, while all of it is retrieved through Orion. The developers tested another GF install on Windows with the same result.
The file is in a MS SQL database. The app on Glassfish queries a middle tier app for info regarding the file, and the file is then downloaded directely through Glassfish. We can download the file to the server without using Glassfish without problems. All network communication between the app server and db server is fine.
Any ideas as to what could cause this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
