Does your code start the threads?
How do you know that "Both instances of slsb A are utilising the same instance of slsb B" if it's injected?
What is a "nested method"? If you call a method of the same bean directly from another method of that bean, the container won't be involved in such method invocation, and nothing special in terms of transaction will be done in this case.
