i can and have built glassfish by following the instructions on

but i cannot get a successful build by simply grabbing a source bundle -- like
glassfish-v2ur2-b04-src.zip and building from bootstrap unmodified other than adding/editing the build.properties file;
also if i delete bootstrap and then cvs checkout boostrap i also cannot build
without error.
i only get successful build by cvs checkout of bootstrap, then maven checkout
where i dont have any source already installed.
why cant i build from the zipped source bundle?
