Nope...
I tried setting the flag mentioned by kcavanaugh in the previous post to yours. Same result.
I had to move on and have given up on making session bean calls from my daemon process. I've gone back my old tried and true method of making a DB connection and running using SQL to get the data I need for the daemon.
Let us know if you find a fix.
