What platform are you running on? (OS, Hardware, Memory)
What JDK are you using?
Which build of GlassFish are you using?
What directory is GF installed in?
How big is the ear file?
How long does deployment take if you use 'asadmin deploy' instead of the ant task?
What messages do you see in the server log file when you deploy?
If you have other ear files, do they also deploy slowly? Or is it just this one?
