Try to install gfv3-tp2-installer.sh or glassfish-v3-express-b11-06_19_2008-unix.sh.
After setting the nice environmental _POSIX2_VERSION=199209 self extracting bin freezes at 97%, creating something update tool links (BTW, tried both checked and unchecked Update Tool).
