Hi Christian:

The steps you followed may have (in spite of your intentions) created
two separate clusters - one on each machine. And to make it more
confusing (for you) the name of each cluster would be the same but
the clusters are actually different separate clusters and treated as such
both by GMS and the memory replication framework.
The ant task setup-cluster
is not designed for multi-machine cluster setup - but for creating a complete
cluster including a DAS, node agent and cluster all on the same instance.
It should not be used for multi-machine cluster setup.

Please try the instructions in this blog by Anissa - and I think you will
have better luck.
