Hi,
as mentioned before, the config you have posted seems to be the only way that makes sure that there is always *1* MDB that services your request. But I guess you have to live with the fact that another instance is created and destroyed on each message.
A colleague has opened a service request with Sun on this. If there are any news I will post here.
