Yes, the directory is in the format of an exploded jar. Only that in this case there are no classes in the directory, only an ejb-jar.xml in the META-INF.
I used neither the cli nor the console to deploy the directory. I simply dropped it in the autodeploy folder.
Will dropping folders in autodeploy not work?
