I am working on the next Maint Release, but I won't be able to define and require support for a standard P2R mapping interface at this time.
I will clarify some of the requirements regarding PolicyContextHandlers, so that this issue can be localized and such that we can get some experience with using a callback mediated approach to making a mapping available to the policy provider.
If that works out, it should be feasible to require support for the callback in the subsequent MR.
