Thanks for your reply.

I don't think upgrading for this small amount of functionality would be approved.

If turning on logging in the domain.xml file is not too complicated, I'd like to try that but I don't really know how to start. I'm basically supporting a Japanese user team, I'm not really a Sun Application Server user myself.
