Just tested using appclient.bat (using ACC).
1. created appclient.jar with package-appclient.bat on the server.
2. unpacked appclient.jar on a remote machine and modified the configured install paths.
3. ran the simple\producer (only Producer.class+manifest in jar) example from javaee5-tutorial with appclient.bat.
=> OK. The client exited correctly.
Both applications use the same ConnectionFactory and the same Topic.
Seems to only be a problem with standalone clients without ACC, then...
