Is there a portable way to create files from a servlet ?
I need to create some pdf files in a web application. I want to store them in a directory, and the pdf's can be accessed using hyperlinks eg. <a href="/somedir/someotherdir/myreport.pdf"> report1 </a>
Please let me know if there is any portable way of doing this.
