Guys I am facing same problem. Glassfish is always returning me DataSource Object which is not expected. In other words I am not able to retrieve my connection from connection pool. It really doesnt amke any sense for me to make new connections as I need to make new Transactions on same connection.
Is this a buf in Glassfish or I am missing some thing??
