Basic Auth works even the SSO is disabled. I think it is the Browser which remembers the username and password.

Yes, It works. I am misleaded by the document, it said the SSO is enabled in Glassfish by default, but it is NOT.
it is enabled by default only in the enterprise profile, and disabled in the developer and
cluster profiles.
i thought you had figured this out, because you were mentioning that it worked for
basic auth. :)
