It seems to have picked up some speed. I changed both the http-listener-1 and 2 from 2 acceptor threads to 1. I had previously set the thread count to 130 (initial and increment both set to 10) based off of one of your blog entries.
I have also gone through the SUN performance tuning documentation. (

This is just a simple web app with heavy database usage. No ORB, JMX, EJB's, or anything fancy.
Can you think of any other tips that would help?
