We had a bug filed for the same ArrayIndexOutofBounds exception
 : https://glassfish.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3998

And the user indicates that upgrading to 9.1_01 solved the issue. So are you using that as well ?.

Let us know, meantime i will investigate more in the code and get back
