I am building an app using JSF + EJB 3.0 + Hibernate. I would like to perform some business validations in the Session Bean (and not in the managed bean). Is there something equivalent of the FacesMessages (part of the Seam) supported by the core JEE 5 that can be used to add error messages that can be displayed in a JSF UI ?
