glassfish is not able to serve even static context when in this state, e.g. that is browsing
http://serverhost stalls (not sure for how long though). it's possible that the server would recover from this state after a few days/weeks.
yes, i noticed the postgres thread, but could make anything out of it.
i need to get more acquainted with jstack and find a way of simulating this behavior to get rid of this hanging.
