It is possible to connect to Berkeley DB via a resource-adapter.
BerkeleyDB bundle has a resource-adapter
You can refer
JE_HOME/jca/HOWTO-sjsas.txt. [JE_HOME : BerkeleyDB install-dir]
It has instructions on how to build the resource-adapter, deploy it to
GlassFish and a sample application to verify.
