I'm wondering how can you set up FKs that do not match PK type exactly. Does Oracle allow that?

We stumbled upon this problem several years ago in the CMP impl, and learned that Oracle driver (or database itself?) doesn't trim CHAR columns even though the SQL spec prescribes this behavior.
