If Quercus can meet your PHP needs, then you can most likely just use Glassfish.
It's a pretty decent web server, though it doesn't have all of the standard flexilbity of Apache. Notably, it doesn't have mod_rewrite at the container level (that's a common needs folks have).
If you were just doing Java, them for sure you can just go Glassfish.
