For those who are experiencing the same issue after the log off, please make sure that there is no other Web Server (Apache, IIS) running on the Windows server.
I experienced the same problem. I stopped and disabled the Apache service. Then, I rebooted the system and GlashFish was able to start properly.
I logged in and opened the GlashFish Admin Console (
http://localhost:4848/login.jsf) without starting manually the default server.
