I have an EAR file with a WAR file inside, and I need to make some changes to web.xml context-param values when I deploy to the deployment server after testing is complete. I find it irksome to fish out the web.xml file, edit some settings, and put everything back together.
What is the best way to deal with this? Ideally, I'd like to be able to edit some properties in the admin interface or the asadmin tool. I have to go there anyway to configure JDBC and JavaMail resources.
